Here is your guide to setting up a fleet in Ten5 and onboarding new drivers. Once you have added a driver we will send them a welcome email with their username and password, allowing them to start using Ten5.
You can add one driver at a time, or you can create driver accounts with a pre-made template, which is attached below. If you have many drivers, we recommend you use the template to fast-track your fleet set-up.
Adding a Driver to your Fleet
1. Navigate to the Drivers page.
2. In the top right corner, click Add.
3. Enter driver information, such as name, email, address, phone number, and birthday.
First & Last name and email address are required fields.
4. After entering all desired information, click Create.
5. You'll see your new driver appear on the Drivers page.
Adding Multiple Drivers to the System
1. Navigate to the Drivers page.
2. Click on the three dots next to Add.
3. Click on Template Multi Drivers to download the template (the template is also attached at the bottom of this help article).
4. Open the file in Excel or other spreadsheet software and enter managers' information in the cells. Name & email address are required.
Phone numbers must begin with the country code (e.g., +1 410-123-4567 should be entered as 14101234567). Otherwise, the system uses the first numbers as the country code (e.g., if you enter 4101234567, the country code would be +41 - Switzerland).
5. Once you've entered all the information, save the file and return to the Drivers page in the Ten5 Dashboard.
6. Click on the three dots again.
7. Click on Bulk Multi Driver to upload the template.
8. Click on Select file and upload your file.
9. Select the header row of the uploaded data.
10. Click on Next.
11. Match column to ensure the data is correctly integrated and then click Next.
12. Check for any rows you'd like to discard or simply click Confirm.
13. Your drivers will appear immediately and Ten5 will send a welcome email with a temporary password.
Next steps:
- If you haven't already, add your managers to Ten5.
- If both managers and drivers have been added, start creating groups.
